Cachet was carved out of block of soap and, as such, there are not many produced before the soap broke up.

Produced by Ian Harkess when, with the UOC Antarctic Biology Unit at Cape Royds.
Posted Scott Base 16 Nov 1965 and backstamped Lyttelton, 20 Nov 1965.

Would be one of the scarcest Ross Dependency cachets on cover.
